The workshops will bring together 8-18 year olds to use their imagination, gaming and digital stills and dream up new ways to learn about the history of old churches and look after them. Can artificial intelligence come up with new ways to visualise how these churches were built hundreds of years ago and how the great fire and other events impacted on their condition?
The first workshop will bring together a range of weird and wonderful ideas.
The second will select a handful of these and explore ways to develop them in practice, with the help of conservation experts and researchers.
This project forms part of the Wren300 Square Mile Churches programme which is being undertaken by the London Diocesan Fund and partly funded by The National Lottery Heritage Fund.
